No news again. 

I have started emailing the passport office every day to highlight:

• If anything happens to my wife such as she falls ill, there is no one to look after my child. The baby is dead. I hope that is clear.
• I have had a school friend have a baby in Canada less than 2 months ago so obviously this is possible to get a child born abroad into the country somehow. I believe he engaged an expensive lawyer. Not a luxury I have unfortunately but this is clearly discrimination. 
• I do believe that this contravenes EU law in so much that it is keeping a child form it's father for no reason. 
• The passport office made this (utterly pathetic) rule about doing face to face interviews - they need to honour it. If they cannot, they need to find an alternative or cancel the rule. 

I am also emailing this to my MP Greg Smith

He hasn't actually engaged with me but his secretary has and she is trying to help. 

It highlights yet another problem with this country though - an MP has precisely zero power anymore over a government department. 

Whats that saying about putting the cart before the horse?

The lunatics are well and truly in control of the asylum. 

I hope Priti Patel comes good on her promise of utterly smashing these thiefdoms. 

So anyway, this will get emailed everyday. 

I doubt it will do any good but I will at least have all this documented and they can explain to someone in the future why for such a stupid reason a baby is in a risk situation when he could easily be in safety.
